What the What!!!

Ok ladies…. what in the world happened? When did we think it was sexy to step outside the house dressed in tops that don’t fit at all (or barely), leggings for pants, shorts that can’t even keep your butt under control or skirts that look like they’re 5 seconds away from ripping apart if we bend down too far, or more accurately, try to even move? Don’t get me wrong, I love a good top that conforms or an awesome pair of “great butt” jeans, pants, skirt, etc..but theres a fine line between exsenuating your fabulous figure and spilling out everywhere. Plus, be honest, do you look in the mirror before you enter into society and think “I’m looking good!”? Do you feel good about yourself in what you’re dressed in? I’m not judging and am not here to insult anyone, but as a fellow female, I’ve got to speak up.

First of all, we are not setting a proper example for future generations. Whether you’ve got kids or not, when little girls see women dressed certain ways it plants that intriguing seed into their spongy brains on how they should dress the next day and as they mature into teenagers. We don’t think that anyone cares or is even paying attention, but they are. There are :mini mes” everywhere 😉

As for all you youngsters in jr. High and high school, I’m all about fashion expression, wearing what makes you feel pretty or comfortable. Just remember that even though its 100% wrong, boys will treat you a certain way based off of how you’re dressed. Giving the wrong impression will lead to miss judgments.

Ladies… we should base our fashion choices on not just how we look in our outfits, but also how we feel. No matter what body type you have, its beautiful. Embrace who you are and what you’ve been given. You can show off without showing off. Our bodies are ours, having a touch of modesty is a good thing. Allowing our boobs and butt to play peek-a-boo with the public isn’t.

What are your thoughts on this subject? Sharing is caring! 🙂

Until next blog… Love Derra ❤
